40th SAARC Charter Day was celebrated by the SAARC Arbitration Council. Governing Board Member Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Director SAARC from Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Director SAARC Energy Centre, Arbitrators, and other dignitaries from SAARC Bodies and other Institutions attended the event.

The 13th Governing Board Meeting of SARCO was held through hybrid mode on 12 – 13 December 2024 in Colombo, Sri Lanka.  Meeting deliberated on Administrative, Financial, Legal and Policy matters for the year 2025.

SARCO Seminar on ‘Amendment in the Arbitration Act: Are Changes Long Overdue?‘ was held in Karachi-Pakistan on 24 July 2023.

SARCO Webinar on ‘Arbitration in Bangladesh: Navigating the Legal Landscape and Key Institutional Developments‘ was held at SARCO Secretariat through Virtual Mode on 06 June 2023.

Deputy Directord SARCO attended the 2nd Bangladesh – India Cotton Festival 2020. He spoke, on invitation by the Bangladesh Cotton Association and presented an orientation for the cotton traders, at this event.

SARCO received a conference call from the Managerial Board of the 5th CATRAL Conference, organized under auspices of the National Law University, Jodhpur, India. The management of CATRAL took this opportunity to express their gratitude and thank SARCO, for its continued contribution towards this regular event.

Director General SARCO, on invitation, participated in the APRAG Conference 2020: Innovations & Challenges facing the Arbitration Industry on 16-17 January 2020 in Thailand organized by the Asia Pacific Regional Arbitration Group (APRAG) and the Thailand Arbitration Centre.
